The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) is the largest rural transit system in the U.S. and provides commuter bus service in the Roaring Fork Valley, ski shuttle service to the four Aspen Skiing Company mountains, Maroon Bells Guided Bus Tours, and a variety of other seasonal services. Equipped with ski racks in the winter and bike racks in the summer, buses are comfortable, modern, convenient and equipped with wi-fi. There is a stop located right outside the Aspen Glen entrance and a convenient park-and-ride lot in nearby Carbondale.
